This Privacy Policy describes how PrePublic Equity Partners, LLC (“PEP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes information about you when you visit or use our website and related online services (collectively, the “Services”), or when you otherwise interact with us (e.g., via email, events, or social media).
Our website may include links to third-party services, including an investor portal hosted by SERAF (opened on a separate domain) and investor onboarding and KYC/AML services provided by North Capital. When you use those third-party services, their privacy practices also apply (see Section 4).
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above and may provide additional notice where appropriate. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
1) Information We Collect
A. Information You Provide Directly
We collect information you provide to us, including when you:
complete forms on our website (e.g., contact forms, newsletter sign-ups); request information about PEP or our offerings; communicate with us by email or otherwise; register for or attend an event; and (if applicable) apply for a job through our Services.
Examples of information you may provide include:
Identifiers/contact information: name, email address, phone number, postal address. Professional information: company, title, role, areas of interest. Communications: the content of messages you send to us and related metadata (e.g., time/date, delivery status).
B. Investor and Compliance-Related Information (If You Engage With Us as an Investor or Prospective Investor)
If you engage with us as an investor or prospective investor, we and/or our service providers may collect and process additional information in connection with onboarding, eligibility, and compliance, such as: Account/portal information associated with an investor portal (e.g., username, account settings, and portal activity); Eligibility information (e.g., accredited investor or qualified purchaser status information);
Identity verification information and related documentation; KYC/AML-related information and diligence information (as permitted or required by law); Transactional and financial information (as applicable); and Tax and recordkeeping information (as applicable).
C. Information We Collect Automatically
When you use the Services, we may automatically collect certain information, including: Usage information: pages viewed, links clicked, time spent, referring/exit pages, and interaction patterns. Device and network information: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, language settings, and approximate location inferred from IP address. Cookies and similar technologies: cookies, pixels, SDKs, tags, and similar technologies used for site operation, analytics, security, and advertising/retargeting.
D. Information We Collect From Other Sources
We may obtain information about you from third parties, such as: analytics providers; advertising and marketing partners; social media platforms if you interact with our pages or ads; and service providers supporting identity verification, investor onboarding, and compliance.
E. Information We Derive
We may derive information from other data we collect (e.g., inferring interests based on pages visited or how you engage with our content).
2) How We Use Information
We use the information we collect for business and commercial purposes, including to: Provide and operate the Services, including maintaining and improving functionality and performance; Respond to requests and provide customer support; Communicate with you about updates, events, and information we think may be of interest (subject to your choices); Investor onboarding and compliance, including determining eligibility, conducting identity verification and KYC/AML checks, processing subscriptions/transactions (as applicable), maintaining records, and complying with legal and regulatory obligations; Analytics and measurement, including understanding engagement with our Services and measuring campaign performance; Advertising/retargeting, including showing you PEP advertisements on third-party platforms and measuring effectiveness; Security and fraud prevention, including protecting the Services and our users; and Legal compliance, including enforcing agreements and protecting our rights and the rights of others.
3) How We Share Information
We may share information in the following circumstances:
A. Service Providers and Vendors (Including SERAF and North Capital)
We share information with vendors, service providers, and consultants that perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, data storage, IT support, communications tools, analytics providers, advertising partners, event tools, and professional advisers. This can include service providers that support our investor and compliance workflows, such as: SERAF (investor portal functionality, hosted on a separate domain); and North Capital (investor onboarding, identity verification, and KYC/AML-related services). These providers are authorized to use personal information only as necessary to provide services to us and as otherwise permitted by applicable agreements and law.
B. Advertising and Social Platforms (Targeted Ads/Retargeting)
We may share or make available certain information (such as cookie identifiers, device identifiers, and website interaction data) with advertising partners to help deliver and measure ads, including on: LinkedIn (e.g., LinkedIn Insight Tag) Google (e.g., Google Ads) Meta (e.g., Meta Pixel)These partners may process information in accordance with their own privacy policies.
C. Legal, Safety, and Rights Protection
We may disclose information if we believe disclosure is required by applicable law or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of PEP, our users, or others.
D. Business Transfers
We may share information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
E. With Your Consent or At Your Direction
We may share information when you consent or direct us to do so.
F. Aggregated or De-identified Information
We may share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
4) Third-Party Services and Links (SERAF and North Capital)
Our Services may link to, integrate with, or reference third-party services. In particular:
SERAF Investor Portal: If you click to access the investor portal, you will be directed to SERAF on a separate domain. Information you provide or actions you take within SERAF are governed by SERAF’s privacy practices and any settings you configure with SERAF.
North Capital KYC/AML: As part of investor onboarding and compliance, you may interact with North Capital (directly or indirectly through an onboarding workflow). Information processed by North Capital may be governed by North Capital’s privacy practices and applicable legal requirements. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use.
5) Cookies, Analytics, and Interest-Based Advertising
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Services functioning, remember preferences, maintain security, understand usage, measure campaign effectiveness, and support advertising/retargeting. You can control cookies through your browser settings. If you disable cookies, some features of the Services may not function properly. Interest-Based Advertising Choices
You can generally limit interest-based advertising by: adjusting your browser settings to block or delete cookies; using opt-out tools provided by industry groups (e.g., the Digital Advertising Alliance or Network Advertising Initiative); and adjusting ad settings on platforms such as Google, Meta, and LinkedIn. Global Privacy Control (GPC): Some browsers support GPC signals. Where required by applicable law, we will treat a GPC signal as a request to opt out of certain uses for that browser/device.
6) Your Choices
Promotional Communications
You may opt out of promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in those emails. Even if you opt out, we may still send non-promotional messages (e.g., administrative, account, security, or legal notices).
Access, Correction, and Deletion
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information. Please note that we may need to retain certain information for legitimate business purposes and to comply with legal and regulatory obligations (including recordkeeping and compliance requirements related to investments).
7) Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to comply with legal, regulatory, accounting, and reporting requirements, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security.
Investment and compliance-related information (including KYC/AML and subscription records) may be retained for longer periods as required by law and industry regulations.
8) Security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9) Children’s Privacy
The Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
10) U.S. State Privacy Disclosures (Including California)
Targeted Advertising / “Sale” / “Sharing”
Some state privacy laws define “sale” or “sharing” broadly to include making certain identifiers available to advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising (targeted ads/retargeting). Because we engage in targeted advertising/retargeting, our use of these technologies may be considered “sharing” (and in some contexts, a “sale”) under certain laws. You may opt out of targeted advertising by using the choices described in Section 5 and/or by contacting us at privacy@pep.fund.
State Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to: request access to and obtain a copy of certain personal information;
request correction of inaccurate personal information; request deletion of certain personal information; and opt out of targeted advertising and certain other processing. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf, subject to verification.

11) Job Applicants (If/When Applicable)
If we offer job applications through our Services in the future, we may collect applicant information such as contact information, resume/CV, education and work history, references, and any other information you provide. We will use this information to assess your candidacy, communicate with you, conduct recruiting and hiring activities, and comply with legal obligations.
12) International Users
PEP is based in the United States, and we and our service providers may process and store information in the United States and other countries. These jurisdictions may not provide the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction.
